Found this in an early 1900's magazine. It was is an ad for a print of a super joyful young boy titled "Just Barely Living" There was no explanation or story to go along with it. 

It is small approx. 1. 9 inches x 2.8 inches 
I scan this at 600 dpi so you should be able to clean it up play around with it.
Date on bottom reads 1902
